Along with bachelors, we'll also be covering some lovely bachelorettes, so get ready for some serious eye candy everyone. To start us off, we have Ja-Mel Vereen. Born and bred by way of Texas, this charmer is a social butterfly with a heart of gold. Learn more about Ja-Mel, his likes and dislikes, and even his favorite pickup line. Let's just say that every season should be "You" season...

Enjoy femmes!

1) Name/Age/Occupation:

Ja-mel Vereen/29/Operations Manager and Game show Emcee at Unique Entertainment

2) Hometown/Currently Living In:

San Antonio, TX / Philadelphia, PA

3) Take us through your ideal first date scenario...

I tend to keep it a surprise but it usually involves food, drinks, and some form of activity or entertainment.

4) What traits do you look for in a partner?

I look for someone that is intelligent, funny, attractive, open-minded, and has interesting life experiences. If she has great style, that's a bonus.

5) Relationship deal breakers...and go!

Hmm...I would have to say someone with a sense of entitlement, lack of ambition, and who is just un-kind for no reason - yeah I'm not feeling any of that at all.

Ja-Mel Vereen _ Bachelor of the Week _ Femme & Fortune-26) Favorite pickup line and success rate!

You asked for it: "Yea, I'm a hunter...and it's You season..." I heard it on Parks and Rec, but I haven't used it...yet. ;-)

7) What are some of your guiltiest pleasures?

I feel like I'm exposing my soul but I'm game. I guess the one thing I feel guilty about is that I watch high school drama tv shows (Degrassi, Awkward, Faking It, etc.) There are a few other things that might classify as being a GP like listening to N*Sync, my love for the movies Friends With Benefits and Definitely, Maybe, and being a huge Kanye West fan, but I don't feel guilty about those things at all lol.

8) Name some of your favorite destinations around your city and why.

I like anywhere one can walk around and people-watch and also places with great architecture. I like the Art Museum area, Old City on First Friday, and Northern Liberties for all of the restaurants.

9) Where can we find you on a Friday night? How about a Sunday afternoon?

Friday night I'm probably out with my friends bar hopping, doing group outings, or heading to NYC for a weekend fix. On Sunday I usually chill with the family. So I'll either go to my Pop's house in South Jersey and watch whatever sport is on, or I stay with my aunt in Philly and just watch all of our favorite TV shows. Game of Thrones, Shameless, Banshee, House of Lies, Girls, Black Sails, DaVinci Demons- basically all of them lol.

10) Who's your celebrity crush?

There's a few, but at the moment Lake Bell, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Rita Ora and Natalie Dormer are the at the top of the list right now.

11) Who would you say your celebrity doppelgänger is?

I've been getting Brandon T. Jackson lately. He's in the Percy Jackson movies, Tropic Thunder, and other stuff. I think it's a compliment- he's funny.

12) What are you passionate about?

I'm most passionate about two things: working in entertainment and traveling. I knew as a kid I would be doing something in entertainment and that I wanted to see as much of the world as I possibly can. And the fact that I get to do both is a blessing.

13) What's currently on your nightstand?

A book entitled The Procrastination Cure: 7 Steps to Stop Putting Life Off. It's really good for all of you procrastinators out there. Oh, and some headphones. Music helps me sleep sometimes.

14) What's your favorite app that you're using now and why?

I like Groupon for the deals obviously. There are some hobbies I'm going to pick up because of the great offers. And this game Trivia Crack. I work with kids so it helps with keeping them engaged. But don't challenge me, you will lose. ;-)

15) Last song you downloaded or put on a playlist?

I love music, constantly updating my library or Spotify. I just pre-ordered the new Mark Ronson album Uptown Special, J. Cole's latest LP 2014 Forest Hills Drive, and some songs from this band called Sir Sly.

16) Last but not least, where can the ladies find you online?

You can find me @MrJamimi. Feel free to follow :-)
